CONTRACTS FOR ARTISTS

In this online workshop, Danielle Brown, Ph.D. will discuss her journey to understanding contracts as an artist-scholar and entrepreneur. She will talk about the importance of artists understanding and paying close attention to contracts, as well as preparing and giving their own contracts to potential clients. The workshop will include an examination and discussion of sample artist contracts that Brown has developed and used in her work, as well as practical advice for artists wanting to develop their own contracts.

Emancipation Day with Baba Mpho

The second BK Roots CARE-A-VAN will take place on Monday, August 1 at 6pm - 8pm Prospect Park’s Drummer’s Grove (Parkside and Ocean Avenue Entrance) . The evening will be organized and hosted by Baba Mpho. He will share the significance of the Caribbean celebration of Emancipation Day. More details to come.
